Guitarist/vocalist Chris Cortez new CD Awakenings is getting rave reviews. The CD was among the top 50 grammy entries in 2007 for Best Contemporary Jazz Album and Best Instrumental Jazz solo. Just short of a nomination, this was an incredible honor.
Chris continues to teach privately, and also runs a full service recording studio and record label, Blue Bamboo Music.
